2. Some jazz lovers find Archie Shepp 'heavy going'. This cd is a light blues based way into the sound of this jazz giant. The combination of Shepp and Horace Parlan is amazing. I owned this on vinyl many years ago and was so pleased to see/hear it again on cd. For guitar players, it is great to jam along!/5(17).
